Accompany your loved one to his or her final resting place during a cruise on Amsterdam’s canals. Cruise past places that evoke special memories or mark unforgettable moments, or simply because the deceased had a strong connection with Amsterdam or loved boating. This tour also provides a respectful and safe way for bereaved families to say goodbye along the route.

We ensure that every detail is right, regardless of the size of the funeral. In collaboration with you and/or the funeral director, we create a personalized farewell, completely customized.

What are the options?

A funeral on the water offers a serene and intimate atmosphere. The tranquility of the canals and the calm water create a special, peaceful setting to say goodbye to a loved one.

Thanks to our extensive experience and close cooperation with Zorgvlied and the Nieuwe Noorder, we can moor at these locations after the cruise for a dignified closing on board.

During the cruise you can listen to music and we offer appropriate refreshments, such as coffee or tea with a petit four, or a beer or wine to toast your loved one together.

At the end of the cruise, we will take you back to the pick-up location or another desired destination.
